Secretary’s Report – Review & Approve Past Minutes (Benton Campbell)

  1. December 18, 2023, Minutes
    • Blake Nelson proposes edit to add “Appropriate use of Electronic Devices” to State Policy E1423 for clarity, Jared DeMaster moves to approve the minutes as edited, Blake Nelson seconds. Motion Carries.

President’s Report (Corey Mathisen and Fernando Nacionales)

  1. Welcome new board members.

Executive Director’s Report (Dana Wheeler)

  1. Staff Leave Balances
    • Reviewed
    • Discussed staff assignment updates. Tony has taken up more of Dana’s roles as we prepare to transition staff leadership. Additionally, this will help limit Dana’s hours.
  2. Contract implementation and backpay issues
    • New contract was signed off on November 25. No explanation has been given by MMB for the delay.
  3. DPS/OPS Arbitration Award
