The Minnesota Infrastructure Alliance, formerly known as MN 2050, has rebranded and is planning communication and advocacy strategies for the upcoming legislative session. Composed of a coalition of professional organizations working to support safe and sustainable infrastructure across the state. You might be familiar with its “Infrastructure Report Card’, released every other year based on a survey of infrastructure professionals from around the state.
That report card will come out in 2026, and the group is focused on developing and distributing comprehensive messaging that tells the ongoing story of need for infrastructure support in Minnesota for this coming year. As you’re aware, the legislature failed to pass a bonding bill in the last session; the importance of a comprehensive infrastructure package is the focal point of this year’s message.
The MN Infrastructure Alliance will be active over the next several months, cohosting several events at the Capitol such as “Transportation Day at the Capitol” and “I Heart Infrastructure Day”. To learn more about the Minnesota Infrastructure Alliance, check out their website.
